Identity designed for UK based DJ and producer, RALSTON. When he approached Core, the artist was developing his styles and shifting his talents across genres. As such he wanted a new identity that would step away from his previous output and have a strong, serious feel that represented his character, drive and love of music.
As a custom typographic wordmark, the RALSTON logo is crafted in a heavy weight to reflect not only the confidence of the music but the persona of the artist himself. The off-kilter angles on letterforms and the unusual letterform of the ‘A’ add a subtle flair to the wordmark, and give an air of mystique to the artist.
